If you have a camera thats fine but if you don't have buy one. You don't need to buy very expensive camera as you are beginner or just buy a second hand camera on ebay.
After you get the camera learn to use it. You need to know about ISO, exposure, sutter speed and the aperture. For example: if you are shooting some sports activities or moving objects then you need to focus on sutter speed. If you are shooting model or you are doing portraits photography then you need to have focus on aperture. Note: aperture also depends upon what type of lens you are using. ISO and exposure are about the brightness that how you you want in your picture that you are taking.
Explore the places for the photography. Visit different places meet different people. As a photographer you need to have a great connection with everyone. If you are shooting a person who was bever shoot before, you need to have a ability to make him or her clam.
That's is the good quality to be a great photographer.
Explore the world take photographs. Take it like your hobby not your career. Then one day you will be a great photographer.
